microRNA Detection Microarray Service - Probe Content
Our microRNA arrays cover all species for which sequence data are available in the miRBase Sequence Database and the Plant MicroRNA Database. Although these sequence databases are being continually updated as new sequences are experimentally verified, the contents of our standard arrays are updated in synchronization with the databases. This synchronization is made possible by our flexible µParaflo® microfluidic chip technology. We continuously offer the flexibility of sequence selection. Customers who want to combine miRNAs of different species and/or add custom sequences to standard arrays may do so by requesting custom arrays. When the number of added sequences is below 100, the addition will be free of additional charge.
Flexible content means LC Sciences always delivers the most comprehensive profile of microRNA expression in your sample.
miRBase V22
Special Notice – miRBase was updated to version 22 in March 2018. This probe content is immediately available on all our standard and custom microarrays.
We can synthesize microRNA arrays for all species that are listed in the miRBase Sequence Database. We have listed a subset of our most popular species below. The current probe content comes from version 22 of the miRBase sequence database . (See the 22 release summary) Please call if you don’t see your species of interest.
Plant MicroRNA Database (PMRD)
We can synthesize microRNA arrays for all species that are listed in the Plant MicroRNA Database. We have listed a subset of our most popular species below. The current probe content comes from the most up to date version of the PMRD sequence database. Please call if you don’t see your species of interest.
- Up to date version of the PMRD
- Plant MicroRNA Database
Addition of your custom sequences to any of these standard arrays is available for no charge. (up to 100 custom sequences)
Both miRBase 21 and PMRD probe content is immediately available on all of our standard or custom microRNA microarrays.
This table lists the commonly ordered arrays. Click here for a Comprehensive List of All Species Arrays
