Non-coding  (ncRNAs) are a class of RNAs that do not encode proteins but instead possess regulatory function at the level of RNA in the cell. Custom microarrays have been shown to be a effective experimental approach to discovery of novel ncRNAs1 as well as a method to validate candidate ncRNAs2. LC Sciences provides a small non-coding RNA discovery service using innovative µParaflo® technology and proprietary probe design, which enable highly sensitive and specific direct detection of small RNAs in your sample. This service is comprehensive; from array design to sample to data, allowing the most efficient novel discovery of small regulatory/functional RNA embedded within non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) or genomic RNAs.

Comprehensive Service - Send us your total RNA sample and we’ll perform all the necessary functions to complete your microarray experiment including: sample QC, sample preparation (small RNA enrichment and labeling), microarray hybridization, array scanning and data extraction, and data analysis.

Completely custom probe content  - allows you to design an array cover your specific area of interest in the genome of your species of choice.  These are not spotted arrays.  Utilizing our flexible microfluidic on-chip synthesis technology, we will custom synthesize your microarray to order when you order it.

Direct labeling of RNA  - eliminates the potential bias involved with transcription of sample(s).

Fast service- In about 2-3 weeks you will receive: original and processed scan images, array layout and a list of sequences,  raw and processed data, and a summary of the results.

Assay performance - A microarray system sensitive enough to detect low abundance sequences and specific enough to differentiate single base mismatch from perfect match sequences.

Microarray Platform - µParaflo® microfluidic chip technology enables us to achieve such high quality and product reliability.

This is the same exact microarray service used for detection of microRNA.
