July 12, 2007 - Mammalian microRNA Atlas Published

In order to identify miRNAs and to assess their expression patterns, a consortium of researchers sequenced over 250 small RNA libraries from 26 different organ systems and cell types of human and rodents¹. As a result, many new mature Human, Mouse, and Rat microRNA sequences were submitted to the Sanger miRBase Sequence Database. Although not yet released as a new miRBase version, This probe content is immediately available on all of our standard or custom microRNA microarrays.
