The current probe content comes from version 12.0 of the miRBase sequence database which was updated on Sept 1st, 2008. (See the 12.0 release summary) (See a comparison to previous versions)

Addition of your custom sequences to any of these standard arrays is available for no charge. (up to 100 custom sequences)
