• Unknown small RNAs can be aligned with reference genomes

• Classification of all mapped reads

Following the exploratory sequencing, which defines the comprehensive set of sequences, microarray probe sequences are designed and efficient profiling on custom arrays is performed.

• Includes probe ID reference to known database (mirbase, genome, etc)
• Contains additional sequence variants derived from sequencing results
• Probe design takes consideration of sequencing counts
• Requires one of the following :

• Customer provided mapping and annotation data or,

• No annotation provided with results, report only based on sequence ID/serial #
